Agrium Common stock is traded on both the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).  Agrium's trading symbol for both exchanges is AGU.

SEDAR (the System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval) is the system used for electronically filing most securities-related information with the Canadian securities regulatory authorities. Filing with SEDAR began January 1, 1997 and is now mandatory for most reporting issuers in Canada. EDGAR (the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis and Retrieval system) performs automated collection, validation, indexing, acceptance, and forwarding of submissions by companies and others who are required by law to file forms with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). All companies, foreign and domestic, are required to file registration statements, periodic reports, and other forms electronically through EDGAR.

Agrium merged with Viridian in 1996, so your Viridian shares are exchangeable for Agrium shares. Please contact Agrium's Transfer Agent and Registrar, AST Trust Company (Canada), directly for more complete details about exchanging your Viridian shares.

A Transfer Agent and Registrar maintains a record of all outstanding stock certificates and the names of the persons to whom they are registered. When registered stock certificates change hands, the Transfer Agent  facilitates the title transfer of stock ownership from the seller's name to the buyer's name. Agrium's Transfer Agent and Registrar is AST Trust Company (Canada).

For information about your current Agrium ownership standing and transaction history, either contact your broker or, if you hold your shares in certificate form, register with AST Trust Company's AnswerLine – an added service feature provided by our Transfer Agent and Registrar.

If you originally purchased your Agrium shares through a brokerage firm, contact the brokerage firm directly to change your account address. If you are a registered shareholder (an owner with your name on the share certificate), please contact AST Trust Company (Canada) directly to change your account address.

Agrium common shares provide our shareholders of record with a quarterly dividend of $0.875 (U.S.) per share, which is $3.50 (U.S.) per share on an annualized basis. Shareholders may elect to receive their dividends in U.S. or Canadian dollars.
