Urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) solution is made by dissolving ammonium nitrate and urea in water. The nitrogen content of these solutions will vary from 28% (Canada) to 32% (United States), depending on the amount of ammonium nitrate, urea and water in the solution. UAN can be handled as a liquid at atmospheric pressure and temperature. |
- blend uniformity
- application accuracy
- ease of storage, handling, transport and application
- application flexibility; broadcast, band, seed place or foliar
- low salt-out temperature
