Agrium to host investor day in Montreal

CALGARY, Alberta   Agrium Inc. (TSX and NYSE: AGU) announced today it is hosting an investor conference on June 12, 2008 in Montreal, Quebec. 

The one day investor session will be held at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal starting at 10am ET.  Presentations will include an introduction and overview by Mike Wilson, Agrium President and Chief Executive Officer.  Other key executives and management personnel will discuss Agrium’s Retail, Wholesale and Advanced Technologies businesses, covering updates on our expansion plans and the outlook for all of our businesses.  In addition, Ross Korves from ProExporterNetwork will provide a presentation on the agriculture situation and outlook and an update on the biofuel industry.  Presentations will be followed by a reception. We encourage investors to attend, advance registration is required.
