Agrium to present at Credit Suisse 19th Annual Chemical Conference

CALGARY, Alberta -- Agrium Inc. (TSX and NYSE: AGU) announced today that Mr. Mike Wilson, Agrium President and CEO, will be presenting at the Credit Suisse 19th Annual Chemical Conference in New York on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. ET.

Agrium will host a live audio webcast of the presentation at www.agrium.com, expected to be approximately 30 minutes in length.  The presentation will be archived on Agrium’s website for one year.
