Agrium to host investor conference in Toronto, ON on June 12, 2006

CALGARY, Alberta -- Agrium Inc. (TSX and NYSE: AGU) announced today it is hosting an investor conference on June 12, 2006 in Toronto, Canada. 

Mike Wilson, Agrium’s President and CEO, will discuss the continuing transformation of Agrium.  Other key management personnel will present on recent acquisitions and developments in Agrium’s Retail, Wholesale and Specialties businesses, including plans for Agrium’s innovative, environmentally-friendly controlled-release fertilizer, ESN®.
