Agrium to present at BMO Nesbitt Burns Global Fertilizer Conference

CALGARY, Alberta -- Agrium Inc. (TSX and NYSE: AGU) announced today that Mr. Mike Wilson, Agrium President and CEO, will be presenting at the BMO Nesbitt Burns Global Fertilizer Conference in Toronto on Monday, April 3, 2006 at 10:15 a.m. ET.

Agrium will host a live audio webcast of the presentation at www.agrium.com, expected to be approximately 20 minutes in length.  The presentation will be archived on Agrium’s website for one year.
