Agrium to present at CIBC Institutional Investor Conference

CALGARY, Alberta -- Agrium Inc. (TSX and NYSE: AGU) announced today that Mr. Bruce Waterman, Agrium Senior Vice President Finance and CFO, will be presenting at the 9th Annual CIBC Institutional Investor Conference in Whistler, BC on Thursday, February 16, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. PT.

Agrium will host a live audio webcast of the presentation at www.agrium.com, expected to be approximately 30 minutes in length.  The presentation will be archived on Agrium’s website for one year.
