As part of the current regulatory framework under the Alberta Environment Protection and Enhancement Act (AEPEA), we are required to apply to Alberta Environment for an Approval Renewal to continue our Redwater Fertilizer Operations. This operating Approval outlines the regulatory conditions we must operate under in order to be within compliance from an environmental standpoint. Our current Approval expires on May 1, 2007 and as such a Renewal Application will be submitted about one year prior to expiration to allow sufficient time for Alberta Environment to review the application.

This Renewal Application is not for new construction, it is simply to continue our existing operation.  Alberta Environment provides that approvals may be issued for specified periods, which generally is 10 years (maximum term).
