Export markets exist around the world. Agrium’s commitment to building relationships outside of North America includes people dedicated to understanding the specific needs of these customers.    

Agrium markets its international potash sales through Canpotex Limited (Canpotex), which is an offshore marketing agency for the three major Saskatchewan potash producers. Agrium has an investment in Canpotex with about nine percent of total Canpotex sales.  Key potash exports markets include China, Brazil, and India.

We own two nitrogen facilities that target international markets, one in Argentina and the other at Kenai, Alaska.  Kenai's primary markets are South Korea, Mexico and Taiwan.  The key markets for Profertil (over 50% joint venture facility in Argentina) are Argentina, Brazil and Chile.
