Corporate and Site Specific Environment, Health & Safety Management Systems (EMS)

In 2003, Agrium completed the development and rollout of the Corporate EMS, and began full implementation of the corresponding site management systems. The EMS supports the commitments made in Agrium’s EH&S Policy by providing a framework for systematically managing environment, health and safety risks.

The EMS is divided into three categories: responsibilities, processes and standards. The responsibilities clearly define the role of corporate and site management in implementing, maintaining, and improving the corporate and site management systems. The processes define the steps required to identify the EH&S risks associated with our facilities. The standards define the actions that must be taken to consistently manage EH&S concerns common to all of our facilities.
