Agrium Advanced Technologies, a decentralized business unit of Agrium, is currently recruiting for the following position located in Brantford, Ontario:
Reporting to the Vice-President Sales and working very closely with the Sales Manager, Horticulture/Turf, this position manages the customer service operation, executing procedures, quality assurance measures.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for implementing an integrated customer service organization and ensuring customer response standards are established for exceptional service delivery.
- Provides positive leadership to customer service team in setting goals, managing the distribution of workload, coaching and feedback.
- Works closely with Sales team to keep managers informed on a daily basis of current customer activity and, in particular, any concerns that may adversely impact the customers.
- Works closely with Marketing on pricing to ensure all sales orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
- Ensures customer service representatives provide sales support to customers, distributors, including quotes.
- Develops material for and participates in product, service and appropriate industry meetings / seminars / tradeshows.
- Creates reports as requested by the Sales team, manipulating and analyzing data on department performance measurements, service trends and customer service issues.
- Develops, promotes and maintains standards for technical training.
- Maintain an effective liaison with manufacturing, logistics/warehouse, accounting and sales departments to resolve customer issues and meet their requirements.
- Responsible for overseeing and auditing that data entry is accurate, timely and complete.
Qualifications of the Position Include:
- University degree in Business or Agribusiness.
- 8+ years experience working in progressively responsible roles in a related industry, preferably in agronomy or pest control.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work with individuals at all levels and disciplines within the business unit and organization.
- Experience with effectively integrating core functions and identifying synergistic opportunities for optimal performance.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to scope, manage and execute projects.
- Well developed organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to deal with competing priorities and high volumes of work.
- Technically competent in computer and telephony hardware and software.
- SAP, Oracle and ROSS experience will be considered an asset.
