Agrium Advanced Technologies, a decentralized business unit of Agrium, is currently recruiting for the following position located in Brantford, Ontario:

Reporting to the Manager, Information Systems, and this position will provide Information Systems support in a manufacturing enterprise based environment.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Build and Stage Server hardware, desktops.
• Update server Bios and hardware drivers
• Build images of desktops for the repository
• Documentation for asset management
• Network analysis of Cisco, HP, Brocade Switches
• Level 1: Network Troubleshooting;  Helpdesk-desktops, software, printing, and E-mail; Citrix support
• VOIP phone support
• Updating WSUS servers with new updates for rollout to clients

Qualifications of the Position Include:

• Diploma in Computer Technology or related field
• Minimum 2 years hands on experience in a manufacturing enterprise based environment
• Working knowledge of communications, protocols, network technologies, such as TCP/IP, Exchange (spam appliances) and Oracle based software.
• Ability to diagnose hardware/software problems (I.E.: Event Viewer analysis and corrections), install operating systems, drivers and patches (I.E.: built and support images).
• Level 1 Network troubleshooting (Cisco routers and switches, fix firewalls)
• Citrix level 1 support.
• Level 1 Printer and desktop troubleshooting – warranty execution
• Systems back up.
• Experience with Windows ISA, WSUS and back office.
• Microsoft office
