Reporting to the Supervisor, Operations, the Process Operators in the Nitrogen Operations Department are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production during the shift. 

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring/operating equipment and associated systems within standard operating conditions and limits.

Qualifications of the position include:

• A 4th Class Boiler’s Branch certificate is required with the educational requirements to challenge the 3rd Class Boiler’s Branch certificate (ie: Math 10, English 10 and Science 10).
• Preference will be given to those who possess a 3rd Class Steam Ticket
• Previous industrial experience 
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must be motivated and able to work in a team environment, exhibit strong decision making and problem solving skills, and have sound written and verbal communication skills

The Fort Saskatchewan site is a union environment.
