Organizational Management Administrator - SAP

Reporting to the Director of  Human Resource Service Centre, this position will be responsible for implementing the Agrium-wide SAP HR Organization Management and Position Management process to ensure data integrity at all times.  In this  role, the incumbent will also have an opportunity to learn about base pay, incentive and benefits administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages and enters data related to Organization Units, Jobs and Positions in SAP, ensuring Agrium standards are applied consistently.
  • Working with the process owners, pull together relevant data to support amendments to existing organizational structures and creation of new positions.
  • Oversees the automated maintenance of organization charts.
  • Interacts with people maintaining other data within SAP (e.g.: cost centers, personnel administration data) in order to maintain data integrity.
  • Develops capability as “Super User” for standard and ad hoc SAP reporting (e.g.:  headcount, turnover, job and position descriptions and absences).
  • May be required to pull specific reports
  • Responds to data requests and conducts analysis to support effective decision-making.
  • Participates in projects to enhance SAP HR
  • Co-ordinates and conducts regular data audits

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate is an entry-level HR professional who demonstrates results orientation, an ownership mindset and a capacity for change supported by continuous learning mindset.
  • University degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
  • HR training such as certificate, diploma or designation would be an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to relate to staff at all levels of the organization
  • Aptitude for analytical work
  • SAP experience an assest
  • Intermediate proficiency using Excel
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy
  • Interest and initiative to learn multiple areas of the human resources function
