Entry Level Operations Technician

As a Operations Technician at the Kapuskasing Phosphate Operation, you will take part in various aspects of the mill operations including: rail car loading, rail cleaning, rail switching, auxiliary equipment, chemical unloading and product drying, Additional plant operations include start-up and shutdown scenarios.

As a successful Operations Technician candidate, you have a thorough understanding of industrial or mineral processing operations. As well, you possess a minimum of a high school diploma. Preference will be given to those with a relevant two-year technology diploma coupled with a minimum of two years related experience preferably in a mill setting that includes shift work.
