The Mine Department at Agrium Vanscoy Potash Operations requires an individual to assist in underground survey functions.

In addition to carrying out day-to-day surveying, this position also helps prepare short-range mining plans; prepares working drawings; maintains accurate records and permanent maps of the actual mining area; conducts ventilation surveys, and ensures compliance with government regulations.

In order to be considered for this position, applicants must possess a Mining Technology Diploma from a recognized technological institution, and a minimum of 2 years experience working in an underground environment. In addition, the successful candidate will be competent in the use of AutoCAD and MS-Excel.  GIS experience is also considered an asset.
