Agrium Vanscoy Potash Operations requires a Senior Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for Capital project front-end development work, Research and Development of improvements through new technology, and ensuring quality for all in-house Mechanical Engineering work.

This work will include development of preliminary scopes and budgets for future underground and surface capital projects, development of technical specifications for new equipment in underground and surface, research and development of new technologies for improvements to underground and surface operations, and technical support for project managers and Engineers-in-Training, and mentorship for Engineers-in-Training.

Applicants will possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience and be a Saskatchewan Professional Engineer or eligible to become one.  Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem solving and organizational skills are essential.  Knowledge of mining and mineral processing equipment as well as previous supervisory experience will be considered an asset.
