Predictive Maintenance Technician

Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Superintendent the Predictive Maintenance Technician will support continuous improvement in the Mine Maintenance Department.  This will be achieved by a combination of implementing, maintaining and analyzing various condition based monitoring techniques such as vibration, oil analysis, thermography etc.  As well, the Technician will manage the PM/PdM system in SAP to develop and or revise maintenance tactics and task lists defined by Reliability Centered Maintenance processes.
 
In order to be considered for this position, applicants must possess either a Mechanical Engineering degree combined with a minimum of four years experience, a Mechanical Engineering Technologist Diploma combined with a minimum of six years industrial experience or a Journeyman Mechanic ticket combined with ten to fifteen years of experience.  The successful candidate will have experience with vibration monitoring, data interpretation, oil analysis, thermography, and mining.  Working knowledge of SAP specializing in PM/PdM modules, and Microsoft word and excel skills are also key preferences.
