Specifically, the student will provide systems support on SAP R/3 the world’s leading integrated software.   The system support will involve one of Agrium’s SAP teams. 

Owing to the nature of the Fertilizer business and the learning curve associated with SAP - this position is for a student wishing to do an 8 or 12 month term.

The student will be expected to become proficient in:

• Dealing with the user community on the front line support desk - thus requiring excellent interpersonal skills
• Providing training to the user community on how to use the system - thus requiring a strong understanding of process analysis
• Developing base configuration in SAP, performing integration testing for maintenance releases and coordinating support packs for SAP  - thus requiring a strong knowledge of process analysis, procedural programming and database principles.

This position is designed for a student who is entering their third work term who wants to develop a strong understanding of implementing SAP and developing business experience.  

There will be minimum supervision, thus the student must be a self-starter.

Agrium will provide the training required to allow the student the knowledge and skills to do this job effectively.
