Agrium works to secure the future of our children and their children. We are committed to helping the next generation become informed citizens who can make a difference in their communities. Helping children grow in strength and accomplishment is an important aspect of our business. We partner with local schools, provide scholarships and support education programs from elementary to post-doctoral level. At Kenai, Alaska, we run a program that encourages school students to develop innovative solutions to protect the enviroment. We visit community schools regularly -- whether it is career day or a scientific presentation. Company-wide, we annualy conduct more than 100 facility tours to help students and teachers learn about the benefits of modern agriculture. Our goal is to grow the next generation in mind, body, spirity and community. Fact: 48% of children go on to complete a post secondary education in North America. |
