CALGARY, Alberta -- Agrium Inc. (TSX and NYSE: AGU) announced today that Mr. Bruce Waterman, Agrium Senior Vice President Finance and CFO, will be presenting at the Morgan Stanley Basic Materials Conference in New York on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 9:40 a.m. ET.

Agrium will host a live audio webcast of the presentation at www.agrium.com, expected to be approximately 50 minutes in length.  The presentation will be archived on Agrium’s website for one year.
