Ron joined Agrium in 1996 through the acquisition of Viridian Inc. and has since held numerous senior positions with the organization including Director, Technical Services; General Manager, South American Operations; General Manager of Operations & Projects, Asia Pacific; and, Manager of Transportation. Ron has over twenty-five years engineering, operations and business management experience within the petrochemical industry. A graduate of the University of Alberta with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Ron also completed “The Executive Program” at the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business in 1993.

In conjunction with this move, John Yokley will continue to be a Senior Vice President, focusing on future business growth opportunities and other key initiatives where we can best use his excellent expertise and knowledge of not only Agrium, but also our entire industry. John joined Agrium in 1995 as part of the Agrium acquisition of Nu-West Industries. Since joining Agrium, John has led the Marketing, Sales and Distribution roles of North America Wholesale focusing on customer needs and relationships in Agrium's drive to become the Easiest Company to do Business With.
