Niota terminal is located one mile northeast of Niota, Illinois along the Mississippi River.  River Mile 385.

The facility has a 30,000 ton ammonia storage tank

Ammonia is brought in by barge.  The barge is connected to the pipeline located at the river dock, where it is pumped through the pipelines to the storage tank.

Access is by barge and truck
