Reporting to the Superintendent of Maintenance, the Planners will support the FNO Operating, Maintenance, Services, and Projects Teams by providing high quality, fully planned job packages for future maintenance, project and turnaround work.
There are two positions available: Instrumentation/Electrical Planner and Metals Planner.
The Instrumentation/Electrical Planner (in addition to the items listed below) will be responsible for the scheduling for the FNO Maintenance department.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Development and maintenance of equipment Bills of Material and PLAN type work orders in SAP based on input from operating departments
Development of a detailed job plan within SAP that will include the identification of required resources, estimated task durations, and the identification of all materials and services required for execution of the identified work
Assembly of fully planned work into formal job packages for Maintenance, Services, Turnaround and Projects Group for execution
Participation in functional focus groups and will provide cross function coverage within the Planning and Scheduling Group.
Facilitate a weekly meeting of operations and maintenance supervisors to develop the proposed schedule for the next weeks maintenance work.
Utilizing STAC, prepare and input into SAP the next weeks agreed to maintenance work schedule
Learning, developing and maintaining the Turnaround schedule utilizing Primavera as well as owning the running turnaround list.
Qualifications of the position include:
Grade 12 education and a two-year technical diploma or a three or four year technologist diploma or a minimum of 10 years of experience in an industrial processing plant, a maintenance trade or equivalent experience in the maintenance or operations field.
Ability to handle a large and varied workload.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Working knowledge of computer tools (Primavera, SAP, databases, MS Office)
