CALGARY, Alberta -- Agrium Inc. (TSX and NYSE: AGU) announced today that Bruce Waterman, Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer will be presenting at the Citi Investment Research 2008 Agriculture Conference in New York on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 3:25 p.m. ET.

Agrium will host a live audio webcast of the investor presentations at www.agrium.com, which will be approximately 40 minutes in length.  The presentations will be archived on Agrium’s website.
