CALGARY, Alberta -- Agrium Inc. (TSX and NYSE: AGU) announced today that Mr. Mike Wilson, President and Chief Executive Officer will be presenting at the BMO Capital Markets Global Fertilizer Conference in Toronto on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. ET.

Agrium will host a live audio webcast of the presentation at www.agrium.com, which will be approximately 30 minutes in length.  The presentation will be archived for six months on Agrium’s website.
